I agree to an extent..... Some coordinators take a more hands on approach than Marvin - Look at Rex Ryan. He has remained very involved in defensive scheming over the years.

Agreed. There are always HC's that are involved. Patyon in NO is another example, for offense.

But, for the most part, I think a lot of coaches tend to ease off once they are HC's and not try to be as involved.

Am I the only one that finds this surprising? How long does Garrett get?

I think he's the perfect guy in Jerry's eyes....just like Marvin is the perfect guy in Mike Brown's eyes.....

I hate that for him..... That team is going to have some difficulties with the transition to the new stadium, lack of qb and the decline of some of their star players.

But they do have that rookie receiver!
