I have a very difficult time believing that it was his $1m salary this year that prevented teams from wanting to trade. It was the fact that he sucks. However, I could very easily see teams shying away from a trade because of his $3.45m salary next year. Something that Mayhew's dumbass should have been aware of before he threw away a 5th round pick.
