I would love for that change as instant replay in it's current form does take too much time.

My thoughts is you have a person (or people) watch the game in the office and if they see something that needs to be reviewed they have a system where they can buzz the referee that a play needs further review and they give their decision to the referee over the phone.

So say officials say completed ball when the WR was out of bounds, the guys in office buzz the referee who stops play and picks up the line and they tell him they reviewed the play and it should be an incomplete pass.

So the right play is called but much quicker.

And depending on how it works they could remove the challenges from coaches and possibly expand replay to reviewing some of those helmet to helmet personal fouls that are clean hits.
