He was 0-3 going into that AB. Meaning the Spanks already gave him 3 chances for the hit. And now he comes up in the bottom of the 8th with runners on 2nd and 3rd. Are the Spanks supposed to groove one to him there? Does the fact that the strategy was sound for that game situation mean nothing?

Walking him puts a force at every base and leads to a favorable L/R matchup.

You can argue the strategy of the play if you want. I wasn’t watching the game and the results of the game has nothing to do with anything in my life, so I don’t really care. But trying to make a case that the Spanks somehow did him dirty is ridiculous.
