The average liberal can subtract 10-12 years off their life based on all the stress they suffer with too, so…dude is lucky to be alive.
You’re not only projecting, you’re also insane and completely wrong... and your trolling game is lame.
But that’s how you roll.
And although it’s now the weekend, you might want to stop getting drunk so early in the day. Just sayin’.
This will be my last reply to your dumbass.

What’s your deadlift routine, old timer?

My only issue is I'd rather have him pitch to Miggy than the alternative at this point of Miggy's career.

I mean…I knew Detroit was home this weekend.

Must be that youthful memory.

Yeah I don't get that strategy. Miggy is garbage. This has everything to do with 3K. It doesn't matter if they gave him chance before that plate appearance, he didn't succeed. They didn't want to happen in his last at bat of the game vs their team. Simple as that. I mean if that is a big thing to their organization, whatever, but he is old and garbage-shit strategy.

It's the Yankees I'm all for booing them....

After hearing more about this via this thread (as I just head the Yanks intentionally walked him without hearing any details last night) this really isn't a story nor should it be

That was Miggy's second IBB in the last three seasons. He has a 99 OPS+ over the last 6 years.

I think this had less to do with snubbing Miggy than it was just Boone being a complete tard. I'm OK with any excuse to berate the Yankees though. :)

I am not going to die on the hill of defending the Spanks’ strategy here. After all, they are an AL team, so they don’t really understand baseball strategy anyway.

But there is a strategic reason (right or wrong) for the IBB. And why focus on one PA when he had multiple others in the same game where they did pitch to him.

If the whole reason for this uproar is that it provides a vehicle to shit on the Spanks, carry on. I support that whole heartedly. But if the uproar is supposed to be actually baseball based, gtfo.

Now he's ahead of Clemente. Not sure who's up next--maybe Eddie Murray, Palmeiro or something

Looks like Al Kaline is next..then Wade Boggs...then it's Rafael Palmeiro, Lou Brock, Rod Carew, Ricky Henderson And Craig Biggio...

Walking him puts a force at every base and leads to a favorable L/R matchup.

You can argue the strategy of the play if you want. I wasn’t watching the game and the results of the game has nothing to do with anything in my life, so I don’t really care. But trying to make a case that the Spanks somehow did him dirty is ridiculous.
Yeah.

The fans lost

It’s a crappy thing that can’t happen on other sports

But it was decent strategy

They should have grooved one to him, despite the game situation.

Kinda like how Favre sacked himself so Strahan could get his record.

How did the fans lose? They extended the drama for another day
