Michigan State defensive coordinator Pat Narduzzi praised Nebraska’s Taylor Martinez after Nebraska beat the Spartans on Saturday, saying he was faster than Michigan quarterback Denard Robinson.

When U-M defensive coordinator Greg Mattison was asked about that Tuesday, he gave an emphatic answer.

“Not even close,” Mattison said. “If they ran a race today, (Martinez) wouldn’t even get in the medal round.”

Unfortunately for Michigan, the Cornhuskers are winning the race to the Big Ten Legends Division title, holding the tiebreaker over the Wolverines after their 23-9 win Oct. 27.

While visiting a local Lowes store one night about 5 years ago, when I was in a checkout line, a cashier said something about my Huskers shirt I was wearing. She said, you're a Husker fan I see, and I said yes, she then said I hate the Huskers. I then asked her who she roots for. She was a Michigan fan! She looked at me strangely when I said that she makes Michigan fans look bad, but despite your rudeness, I assume you're in the minority.

Not one more word came out of her fat lips!

I have had a pretty intense dislike for Ohio State, from back in the Woody Hayes era. Was never much of an issue with me...until now. That bad beat they put on us this year MUST be avenged!

I always kinda liked the Buffs. I was living in Boulder in '71 - '72 when NU, OU, and CU were #1, #2, and #3 in the nation.
