Johnson doesn't need to play the rest of tonight.

It should be the starters the rest of the way.

Hassan needs to get his head right and impose his will into this game.

I said earlier it was time for the Heat to make their game clinching run -- haven't done it yet.

It has to happen NOW or we drop to 1-1 on the season

They need to do something about Babbitt and Johnson. They both suck. Williams is better than both of them but he has yet to play a minute in the first two game. I hope that change on Sunday

Babbitt and Johnson should be the two PF's to play. Babbitt can run into two or three 3's nightly.

Under the right circumstances -- Babbitt would be relegated to a specialist type player -- When we get guys back, that will be his role.

Williams is the better option, I agree -- he should have gotten some minutes -- lets just hope he gets his chance next game -- and/or whenever he does get his chance, that he produces as needed.

He's more dependable/reliable than Johnson. When it comes to Johnson it is hit or miss. Unfortunately I don't think he should be a consistent in the rotation.

This will be an unpopular statement in here -- but, if healthy -- McRob should also be in the mix to some extent on Sunday.

Though I have a feeling y'all wouldn't mind seeing all Heat players in the next game not named James Johnson

I'm not trying to be a dick, so if it comes off that way, I really don't mean it. But what do you expect here? We lost guys like Deng, Wade, Bosh, and Joe Johnson and replaced them with basically D-Leaguers and Dion Waiters. We don't have that guy you can put the ball in his hands and can just create or carry a team for stretches. I personally think this is the worst roster Riley has put together since the Wade/Beasley/JO days. I'm not mad. I'm not trying to bash. This is the ebb and flow off basketball. I still love the Heat. But with this lineup, losses are better than wins. Tank the season and get a top draft pick.

Last year that would be an unpopular statement but he can't be any worse than James Johnson.....and he's a much better passer

I agree they wont tank. Not yet. Spoles wont allow it. I think we meander through the season struggling around the .500 mark until around the all-star break and just get crushed post break when good teams start making their push.

As Bk mentioned, Riley will never go with the full intention of tanking. But we had to sign Whiteside to a max to keep him and then when Wade left we had to match on TJ where there wasn't really any money left to spread around. We're in a position where we have a season long try out to some of these guys where we have a boat load of cap space next offseason (Bosh's salary comes off the books at that time). I expected high 20's/low 30's as far as wins come from this team. Let's just hope that we have one/two of these guys work out to where we can have them in the fold beyond this season.

Sounds about right. Still want to see how they perform when Richardson is back in the fold. He should replace Waiters in the rotation once healthy.

I didn't get to watch the game, but I read the Twitter TL and it looked bad.

We honestly don't have much options at the 4 given that McBob may actually be our best option at PF. That says a lot.
