Detroit with Blake isn't a 9th seed. Also considering how close these teams are, looking at one team as the 8th seed and another as the 9th seed isn't a good way of looking at things. These teams are close where in a week you can go from 4th to 8th or 9th.

Last Sunday, Indy was in 8th. They're going to wake up tomorrow morning in 5th.

We just need to get back to winning games. Schedule gets more favorable now. I don't think there is not another team in basketball who played 7 more road games than home games at this point of the season. Schedule and injuries been brutal. We really miss Waiters

Do you think DET gets in as the 10th seed?

The only positive from the game tonight is the offense got out of that funk and actually played solid.

Detroit was +16 on the glass. Bam isn't good enough on the glass yet. Can't trade Whiteside until you fix that issue

I think the other positive is that the Heat got out of this one without any injuries -- thats almost like a victory for the Heat these days

Cant give up on the change after just one game. I think it will eventually be much better than anything else the Heat have tried thus far. Winslow and K.O. as starters will turn out to be a good thing eventually for the Heat.

I agree he can't give up on it after 1 game. After all, this was the best offensive performance of the week. I think KO and Hassan will work out well.

Latest Ask Ira which I havent posted in a while. About whether James Johnson and Winslow can play together. I think its a silly question - I always say the Heat need to expand the rotation to keep guys fresh. Different lineup combos will work in different games.

Hassan returns and K.O. and Winslow back in the starting lineup again because 1-2 games is not reasonable time to give up on moves that have the potential of working out.

Gotta admit I was afraid it would just be a 1-game experiment because often Spo and company have the bad habit of getting away from things that work over crap that simply doesnt and wont

Only +1 for the Heat at the half. Doing well from the FT as I said earlier, but still shooting way too many 3's, especially in this second quarter given how poorly they are shooting from there tonight - if they can just stop shooting those and keep attacking, they will be fine.

-6 after 3 and the Heat could be looking at an extended losing streak and another loss to a lesser team

-13 now and the Magic might be closing this out too. Another night of having to watch the Heat go through a huge low in what seems to be game-defining. More frustrating to me is they always seem to occur because the Heat decide to stop attacking and settle for 3's even when its not their night from there.

Credit to the Magic but its just another night of the Heat beating themselves

Whiteside 19 and 14 (the best Heat player tonight) only played 23 minutes so far.

Ellington has yet to hit a shot and is killing the team but he somehow deserved 28 minutes tonight.

Can't make this up.
