Worth pointing out how we lost this game after someone earlier basically guaranteed a win today - happened a few days ago vs Toronto.

On to Friday vs New Orleans, the front end of another back-to-back

This team is consistently inconsistent. At the rate of how inconsistent they are, they're likely to finish with 44-46 wins a a 4-6 seed in the east. Losing 2 of our last 3 home games with our brutal stretch roughly 10 days away is very disappointing

Consistently inconsistent is as accurate as you can get to describe this team. As for how many wins and seeding - lets wait until a little bit later for that - sometime after midpoint of season/post AS break. Our predictions as to win/loss record, seeding can and will fluctuate on a nightly with every win or loss

I agree. I didn't get to watch the game as well either. But Detroit going 15-29 for 3's is very concerning. For as long as I can remember our 3-point defense has been and still is crap. Doesn't matter how good the team is shooting 3's, if they pay Miami, they'll hit them.

Yeah we really need to aim to win 4 of our next 5 before shit gets real starting January 3rd. If we do that least we'll be 20-12 heading into that stretch

10 of just 12 FTs and 4 of 18 from 3 from the Heat - when the attempts favor 3's over FTs for the Heat , bad things happen. Low assist under the 20 benchmark I consider ideal the same with FT. During the run in the second quarter DET also went on a streak with the rebounds which was brutal for us with how they were making 3's - 43-40 on the rebounds, but as I said they went on a rampage that turned things in their favor the rest of the way pretty much

A well stated key here for the Heat - The Heat don't have the best in quality shooters - Because of that, they have to find the best shots for who they do got - and thats just it. Take better fucking shots. Problem will be solved. Lets see what we do next game. Maybe will be healthier.
