After an emotional win against the Cheatriots, Fins hold the 6th seed at least unless the Ravens win. Fins with all the momentum in the world after two clutch wins.

Keep checking this thread for news and updates related to this game and the Ravens game tomorrow.

Hope they don't choke like they did in first game :L I think this team is playing way better than when they lost to the Jills earlier this year. However, I don't feel all that good about this one.

In a way this is a trap game given the momentum we have and the implications of the games we play - But, because of the outcome of our first meeting with the Bills and how that game went, I dont think the Fins will under-estimate this team, especially on the road.

If it ends up being a bad weather game, at least we know we can handle it also.

This team has learned quite a few lessons the hard way and they're now showing improvement in Dec when it counts. Hopefully they can grind out a few more wins to gain playoff experience. I don't expect a let down next week....

Interesting note: #Dolphins QB Ryan Tannehill now has wins this year over Tom Brady, Andrew Luck, Matt Ryan and Ben Roethlisberger.

Via JamesWalkerESPN on twitter

It is worth noting, as all of us who have watched these games know that a lot of different things factores into those wins - But in each, Ryan made big plays to contribute to those wins.

With the win not only do the Fins momentarily move into the 6th Seed until the Ravens game but it also puts the Fins in the #21 slot in the draft.

The ultimate goal is the playoffs but - Cant forget about improving the team for the future either. As I mentioned during the game, we need to find an RB who can pass protect.

Here are some more scenarios for the Fins.

Pats lose out. Fins win out. Bengals lose two. Colts lose 1. Fins 2 seed?
Only if BAL loses

So, the Fins can go up to as high as the 2 seed and get a BYE under this scenario. I think the toughest out of this scenario is for the Bengals and Cheatriots to lose 2 since all that would need to happen is BAL losing tomorrow and Colts losing 1.

A man can dream. Keep hope alive!

Not sure the reasons why, thought it would be the opposite but after reading some tweets from beat writers - the Fins would benefit most from the Steelers beating the Bengals as opposed to the other way around

I think that the young RB's on the team will get better in time but once the Oline is improved everyone else will look better....and I mean everyone. OT or G is a must unless they find one or both in FA.

If they catch the Bengals they'd have the head to head and conference if a 3 way tiebreaker. Ravens could also still win their division but all in all we want them out. Go Lions!

I just wish the Bengals had won tonight. I don't want the Patriots getting a first-round bye. I'd like to see them get battered and beaten somewhere cold like Cinci.

Hey, Who would win win a tie in case of a tie atop the division?

I assume you are asking who would win a tie-breaker if the Dolphins and Patriots ended up tied. In that case the Dohins would win the tie-breaker based on division record. For a tie to happen Miami would need to win their last two, both division games. The Patriots would need to lose their last two the final game in the division. This would give Miami a 4-2 division record and the Patriots a 3-3 division record.

I believe with the Bengals losing if the Fins win out they're in. They have the tie breaker with them and if in a 3 way the Bengals lose out and Ravens would win the division in that scenario. Just win Fins!

Tannehill with 23 TDs first fins QB since, you guessed it, Dan the Man to do it.
