A question that was obviously meant as a joke was asked to Ira in his latest ASK Ira - Can Shane Battier retun to a role as a wing defender?

The answer is obviously NO. He was never good at it. If anything, he is a liability as a defender as much as on offense.

Breaking News: Diva Wade will in fact play on his birthday. There will be a brief pregame ceremony for the occasion - The occasion being that he IS playing on his birthday - not that it actually is his birthday.

Toney Douglas has yet to join the team or even take a physical but is still listed among the inactives tonight. Obviously, Greg Oden is active.

Sadly, the scrub Shane Battier is still in the starting 5 - so once again the Heat will play 4 vs 5 with the opponent with the advantage, of course.

Lets see how and IF Oden plays considering there is another game tomorrow night and another b2b coming soon.

LBJ on the pre-game introduction on tonights broadcast asking himself why there is always this slippage in their play at this point in the season since he got here… I would hope that is a rhetorical question because LBJ , his sloppy and careless and emotionless play has been the biggest contributor to these performances.

Of course, it does not help that The Diva often doesnt want to play and when he does he puts up weak layups for no reason.
