This would have been a good loss, not a disappointing one.

I would like to minimize back to back losses to losing record teams even though I feel Toronto isn’t really bad.

That's why it wouldn't be a bad loss. They were doing all right until this recent 7 game losing streak.

Can you explain this post?

Exactly what it says, except add an apostrophe.

I don’t say it after a big win because I know we’ll have a bad loss. Not until we win a ring would we not even a good win out with a bad loss.

I could have said, “not until we win a ring would we not even out a good win with a bad loss.”

Thanks. It reads much better when said "even out".

I had a hard time understanding the sentence before.

How can I tell if it was good, if you didn't post their steals? ;)

The Bad: Did you see what Alize Johnson did?

And D. Jordan, 2/3. Ruined it. :(
:dhd:

For once, I wasn't referring to a team achieving the magic team shooting %.

I was referring to how the Jazz let some unknown person have 23 points, 15 rebounds, 3 assists, 2 steals on 73% FG and 1/1 from the foul line.

The Jazz should have made the entire Nets team look pathetic, including Alize Johnson and DeAndre Jordan.

What? The Jazz are used to winning early, not late.

They started 12-1 in 2006-2007.

See, the Jazz do start fast and fade late.

They are 5 - 5 in their last 10 games.

They're still 2.5 games ahead of Brooklyn, but are now tied with Phoenix.

I think we should end the regular season right now. No need to play tonight’s games.

Bogdanovic, during the postgame interview (after getting the water bottle shower): "We are the best team in the league."

Warning: The following is very obvious, but I will say it anyway.

The Jazz need Donovan Mitchell to play and they need either Conley or Bogdanovich to play well. If Conley plays, it allows the bench to have Ingles lead the way with Clarkson in his role and limit Joe’s minutes.

Duh, right? But I feel that we can’t beat teams consistently who need to win, evidenced by Warriors and Trailblazers and one of the Lakers games. While we have lost in OT or at the end of the fourth with Mitchell, too, we haven’t had many wins at the end. The Nuggets games and another game here and there are exceptions.

Is there any way to start Mitchell, Gobert, Ingles, Bogdanovic, Conley?

Not unless Forrest or someone can take the PG bench role. We need a strong bench (like everyone else).
