What about Jimmy Johnson delays? (guns in bags)

That's what you call a hope and pray issue. You hope and pray they don't find it, but they just might and if so, uh oh(Please God, Oh Please God lol) :D

Think about the home field advantage the Mexico Banditos would have, every visiting team would have 1/2 it's team in jail until the game was over.

Fuck Mexico. That country is a fucking dump. The NFL should concentrate more on Canada. A team in Toronto and one in Vancouver.

I actually said this very thing to my wife earlier today that this is what made more sense if the NFL wanted to expand. Football in Canada is already a part of that culture with the CFL. The NFL wouldn't have to convince fans to like an entirely new sport to the culture. Throw in travel wise it would make the greatest sense without putting certain teams at a huge disadvantage.

I still say though if the NFL wants to expand the better way in my opinion is through more of what we are going to see today with games being Online. I know they have a big deal with DirectTV but I think they could get a bigger deal with the likes of Google, Youtube, or most likely Yahoo and make it where you can buy package deals where you pay so much to watch your team or to buy the package where you can see every game live. It allows a bigger market to open up both in the United States and around the world. The NFL then is making more money without actually having to leave the United States to do it.

In 05 the 49ers and Cards played a prime time game in MC. I remember it being a great atmosphere, the crowd was going nuts and it ended up being a great game. The crowds for these London games are fucking lame. Football is supposed to be played after a day of beer and street food, not tea and crumpets.

The problem for the gang-banger Raider fans is that, while many are hispanic, they are pochos who don't speak Spanish.

And anyone who says Mexico City is a dump probably hasn't been there. That's like saying New York City is a dump--yeah many parts are, but it's one of the leading cities of the world. It has some very nice areas and is a super cool place to visit.

As for why the NFL would possibly prefer Mexico City to Canada, here are some basic numbers for you:

Mexico City population: 8.8 million, largest in the western hemisphere

Toronto: 2.6 million

Vancouver: 603,000

Canada's entire population is only about 4 times bigger than Mexico City

Mexico's population is four times that of Canada's

How thin is the air up there in Mexico City? That's going to be way worse than Denver.

But maybe we'll see the longest FG ever. Which team has a Mexican kicker?

...in 2017.

NFL hopes to play in Mexico City next year

According to Albert Breer of NFL Network, a contingent of NFL officials will travel to Mexico City soon to see how close Azteca Stadium is to being ready to host an NFL game. Azteca Stadium previously hosted an NFL regular-season game in 2005, but there are logistical issues there that need to be addressed before another NFL game can be played there.

“All the work we’re doing in Mexico now is to determine whether the stadium can be ready,” said Mark Waller, the NFL’s executive vice president of international. “We don’t have a definitive decision yet, but they’re working hard to get [the stadium] there.”

The outstanding issues include making sure the locker rooms are big enough to accommodate NFL teams, improving the technology for headset communications and having enough space for the needs of the NFL’s network television partners. If all of those issues can be addressed before the 2016 season, there’s a good chance that Azteca Stadium will host a game next year, on top of the three games in London.

If not, the NFL will probably play four games in London next year. But the league is hoping to get to Mexico soon, and if 2016 doesn’t work, 2017 likely will. The NFL is serious about expanding beyond the borders of the United States.
