Series Thread: Mets @ Phillies 4 Games

The Phillies will face Wheeler and Colon who each beat us in the 3-game series a week ago in NY. It would be cool to take 3 of 4 from the Muts and climb into a tie for 4th, but that means the better part of Burnett or Kendrick must show up for one of the games while we take two behind Hamels and Buchanan. Can Howard and Revere continue their hot hitting? We'll find out.

Burnett got through the first inning without throwing 30 pitches and giving up 4-5 runs. This is a change from normal for Burnett.
