Yep. I think they thought they were hot shit after competeing with Az and other ooc teams. Conference is so much tougher. They dont look great. Watched them struggle with No Col, and then lose against boise. They look lazy on defense, and have lack of direction on offense as soon as things get tough. They strugle agaisnt the zone cuz nobody is moving without the ball, and even if one guy can break the zone down by penetrating, nobody seems ready for the pass, or the man driving isnt even looking for the open guy when 3 collapse on him. Not great so far.
the way this team has looked since conference started isn't giving me much hope. I am hoping over the course of the next 2-3 games they can get back on track but to be honest if they play they way they have been anyone in the conference can beat them. Mccoy needs to stay on the court not get into foul trouble.

Menzies is not impressing me. He clearly did not prepare them for conference play. They look like shit.

This team has already been better than I thought they would be this season. I don't put much blame on Menzies yet and wont really start judging him as a coach until next season, just my personal opinion... but yeah since conference started its been a shit show. When this team hits on all cylinders they are fucking legit, but its been a month since they played well together.

The games i have seen lately there has been a complete lack of focus and effort. No one moving without the ball, no shifting on decense, no effort toward rebounds, and bad shot selection. Its been bad and its been coaching.
No theres no rumblings yet, but there will be if this conti ues. Im not a fan of getting rid of guys, and i supported dave rice for way too long. Just wish our board of regents had their shit together and we hadnt missed on chris beard.
