To be fair that's a hard question to answer, mainly because its been in Alabama for 4 straight years!

I figured one of you would say that, but I believe there are plenty more MNC trophies out there than 4 of them.

Why do they do that though seriously? I mean taking it to WalMart to have people take pictures with it infront of the Dr. Pepper display. Does that happen everywhere or just in Alabama? I mean, can't they like take it to the mall or something like that?

I'm not trolling here...i'm seriously curious.

It's sponsored by Dr. Pepper and if it's the same as past years it's part of the contract.

Nebraska's got 3 of them. I've never seen one out of the stadium display case.
The players did autograph signings at some of the local stores tho.

Now a days with social media, interwebs en sech these sponsor's (Dr.Pepper) see the $ in all this and use it in a way to make sure their brand is seen. It wouldn't have matter who won it, it would have been displayed at local Walmart's and Academy Sports in said teams area.

God forbid somebody question taking something that should be the most respected object in college football to the local WalMart so all of the inbreds in the area can point their overweight guts towards the crystal ball and glare their single tooth at the camera. They are clearly just jealous.

Because there are plenty of "higher end places" to take a MNC trophy than a Walmart in Alabama. I can think of about 10 places in my shitty area that would be a better destination for a photo-op than at either one of the Walmart's. Why the hell don't they just leave it at the stadium and have times of the week when people can come into the trophy area and take their pictures with it? Or maybe even take it out and have put beside the field or Saban statue or something.

I'm not sure how long this contract with Dr. Pepper is set to last but I'd like to see a change. If they have to display it somewhere besides where you mentioned, I'd atleast rather see it at some sporting goods stores or something. Or maybe Applebees.
