I agree, but I keep reading that they wanted to put it in places where "everyone can see it since lots of people can't go to Tuscaloosa". I'm not sure how long this contract with Dr. Pepper is set to last but I'd like to see a change. If they have to display it somewhere besides where you mentioned, I'd atleast rather see it at some sporting goods stores or something. Or maybe Applebees.

I'd bid it out if I was Dr. Pepper. Let businesses in the area bid on who gets it for the day. Then there is no riff raff about where it goes....if they choose to show it to everybody in the state. They also would get some added income to cover the travel costs enshit.

Also, I agree about Cracker Barrel. They put a new Cracker Barrel like 1/4 mile from the Applebees here. Considering how good the Cracker Barrel's doing, I'm surprised Applebees is still in business. The O'Charley's that was in between them did close down, not sure if it's related though.

you could say that.. I wouldnt blame just the radiologist though.... no one bothered to take any Xrays at all actually.. it was back in the 86 tho.. different times....

Good shit indeed. I'm a fan of their country fried steak and gravy too. A couple of my buddies and myself went to Atl to see a Slipknot concert and there was a Cracker Barrel that shared a parking lot with our hotel and they had a mighty fine regular steak. That's the only one I've ever had it at but they seem to be very consistent.

Yea...some things slip through the cracks in trauma situations like car accidents where wide spread injuries can take place. Broken jaws aren't as common as most probably think, and unless you were complaining of serious pain in that area or had a lot of swelling in the area....they probably wouldn't have anticipated it. We medical imaging peoples like to go by the phrase "as low as reasonably achievable" when dealing with all aspects of ionizing radiation so we don't give the patients and ourselves unnecessary radiation. That is why some doctors try not to order Xrays unless they think the chances are reasonable for one. There aren't any excuses if there were clear physical/visual signs of it.
