McNabb: “We never had to worry about Eli when we played the Giants. We never worried about Romo either b/c we knew he’d turn the ball over.”
I swear for some reason I use to like this guy and always thought he was overlooked. This guy has done nothing but prove me wrong since he retired. What an egomaniac. I wish TO would have whipped his ass instead of whipping Hugh Douglas. A radio host from here in Nashville that also works for fox says he is the biggest jackass there is. He told a story a few yrs back about a guy that came up to Donovan and stuck his hand out to shake hands and Donovan replied sorry I just washed my hands and didnt shake. He was 3-5 vs Romo and the Cowboys while with the Eagles. He will be announcing games this season with Dick Stockton.
I felt a little bad for him very early in his career, but when it began to seem as if he would race bait and he had a chip on his shoulder, I felt he was showing his true colors, and I lost all sympathy for him. I think he's all ate up about a lot of things in his life, and he's a professional doucher.
I think it's a combination of him being bitter and that he realizes that most people don't realize he is alive until he makes these outrageous statements from time to time.
Please give an example of when McNabb "Race Baited? You are talking out your ass!!

African-American quarterbacks face more pressure and more criticism than their white counterparts, Philadelphia Eagles QB Donovan McNabb says in an interview scheduled to air on HBO on Tuesday night.
McNabb, in an interview on "Real Sports with Bryant Gumbel," tells interviewer James Brown that African-American quarterbacks such as himself face added pressure because there are fewer black QBs -- and because some still don't want black athletes playing the position.
"There's not that many African-American quarterbacks, so we have to do a little bit extra," McNabb tells HBO. "Because the percentage of us playing this position, which people didn't want us to play ... is low, so we do a little extra."
Ask McNabb whats Marino's avg. per rush is. It is in the inches per rush. (since he wants to talk about foles running)I dont think he is a race baiter one bit. Actually, quite the opposite. He gets ripped by Limbaugh and he handled it with class. Then the leader of the Philly chapter of the NAACP called him a sell out for not running anymore and trying to act white. People dumped all of this guy completely unfairly.
BUT, his schtick on other topics is wearing thin. Rips ROmos contract, rips Daltons contract, rips a QB with 2 SB rings, rips Favre (who also has a ring), and now he's ripping Foles because a franchise QB cant run like a "turtle" like Foles does. Maybe he can talk to the other slow runners like P. Manning, Troy Aikmann and see if they agree you have to run like a rabbit to be a franchise QB.
I think he took way too much crap during his career. I also think he handled it all like a man but ever since then all I hear from him is him ripping current players and its getting boring. Along with all that, he was the one who was correct in the TO situation. McNabb was NEVER a team destroyer but TO was. I did also sympathize with TO though. I thought TO had mental disease but I think the current McNabb went from a classy player to a QB who lost his speed and was never able to be accurate and is bitter post retirement.

I think McNabb has issues are more jealousy about QB's contracts vs. racism. Let's see what his remarks are if/when RGIII signs a multi mil deal.
McNabb is one of the biggest A-holes in sports. He is just an entitled, arrogant asz that comes off like he thinks he is better than the rest of us. He wants people to pretend he was this All time great player, but he wasn't. He's bitter and jealous and it comes through loud and clear. He is just a dick. I don't know why anyone would give him a job in sports or expect other to want to hear his opinion on anything. And worst of all he dissed my friend PE1's son at a basketball game...
