  • Washington Commanders
    TERRY MCLAURINWR, WASHINGTON COMMANDERS
    McLaurin

Commanders signed WR Terry McLaurin to a three-year, $71 million contract extension.

The deal reportedly includes a $28 million signing bonus. There was never much reason to be concerned about McLaurin's fantasy stock this season -- if you can deliver with Taylor Heinicke, you can deliver with anybody -- but it's good that he'll see actual training camp reps with Carson Wentz. It's also some much-needed good publicity for a franchise that is currently drowning in bad news. McLaurin will enter the season on the WR2 radar, and all eyes turn to DK Metcalf as the last major wideout holdout situation in the NFL.

24M per season? that is a major deal. Where are all the haters saying no one wants to sign here. With Allen and Tmac signed that is two major studs who took below market value to STAY HERE!!

Terry McLaurin has signed a 3-year extension with the Washington Commanders that is worth up to $71 million in new money per Adam Schefter.

The new three-year extension for Terry McLaurin includes a $28 million signing bonus, the largest given to any wide receiver, and also has 76.4 percent of the new money in deal guaranteed. The deal contractually ties the 26-year-old McLaurin to Washington through the 2025 season.

Actually is it really 4 years at 71m? Like 18m per season starting this season?

McNasty, the rookie, Samuels, Brown, cam sims, and the newcomer free agent signing is a pretty badass wr corps.

Thomas, Bates, the giant draftee, Reyes developing, and the AGG and Kelvin Harmon experiments could be a pretty badass group of TE too.

I agree but is it less than Brown? I dont know the AAV yet. It looks like he is getting the same as Diggs.

I thought that changes b./c of the new deal. The new deal takes affect now, not next year. Right?

ESPNn is reporting his base salarry for this year is 2.79 , the extra is the bonus on his rookie deal
