Purvis, who was redshirting (But could still practice), was an McDonald's All-American.

He really shouldn't count though.

DeAndre Daniels was very highly ranked coming out of HS.

But the rest of that team really wasn't. some 4 star guys like Nolan and Boatright for sure. But it didn't have the 5 star blue chippers.

That's just never been UConn's style. Some of their greatest recruits weren't even 5 star guys.

Eh, Badgers were in the last 2 Final Fours, and they haven't had a McD in over a decade...and 2 ever, I believe. It's not the end-all, but it certainly helps and speaks to the poor job both Calipari and Krzyzewski did this year with loaded rosters.
