As for McCarron, I've seen a bunch of his games. He has seldom had to make NFL level throws, because Alabama ran the ball so well that off play action guys would be all alone to throw to. Not sure how he'll translate to the pros.

If they want to challenge Dalton I'd rather bring in a veteran QB

Aaron Murray will likely be around in the 3rd. I think you get far more value with him in the 3rd or maybe even the 2nd than taking any of the guys projected to go high.
