Once we get to the real dead spot I will start a thread so we can Ta;lk about this in a rational manor. cooley put out a false story on SM sorry , he isnt "my "guy " any longer

as for CM if he isnt a work horse back that will help us get a better pass to run ratio i would take another back only because we dont need a high priced 3rd down back who is small and cant block

we need a back who is respected in the ground game and can tote it 20+ times for some balance . i dont CM getting 3rd and 4th short or running it in from the goal line

mixon is a way better choice . cooley is right about the lineman

Can't see McCaffrey on the list for rushing. 25 for 73 yards, 2.9 per carry, long for 11 yards



See what the combine kool-aid does? McCaffrey is a great 3rd down back and even could play in the slot? But he's no Dalvin Cook and not a 3 down RB in the NFL. Like I said, my beef with McCaffrey was the competition he played against and got shutdown against Washington (the only true D he faced). He can't run between the tackles.


Cook has 82 yards receiving on 10 catches. McCaffrey is 18 for 173.


Cook is doing it with Case Keenum now at QB as well.

Comparing CM to CT is just laughable. CM brings way more to the table. Are you serious dude? Don't you know CM has been talk of going top 10 overall? Why is that if he just a 3rd down back like you said.

We don't need him to tote the rock for 20-25 times a game. CT route running or pass catching skills is not even close to what CM brings to the table. Defenses don't game plan against CT. They will have to against CM.

You don't understand how Gruden wants to use his RB's. Brawlers like Founette or Foreman do not fit his system. Its another reason why Matt Jones was such a bad pick. He doesn't fit in what Gruden wants to do. If we draft Mixon then yes he can be on the field for all three downs but will still be spelled for the backups.

Kelley and CT are still going to have roles no matter what RB we take. Gruden wants at least two RB's who can be weapons out of the backfield. Compare it to ATL. Freeman and Coleman are not brawlers but can hurt you in the passing game. If Its RBBC its fine with me.
