That's a great team, Bandit.

I have to say, the B league teams all look pretty good. The A league draft crushed the talent pool at RB so quickly that I don't think the teams look as balanced. We will see how that translates to scoring.

Man, I thought I had Marshawn Lynch with my first pick.
Yeah, it was definitely between Lynch and Martin for me. I just felt a bit more comfortable knowing Lynch has been a beast for more than one year. And I can't believe Ridley fell to me. Hopefully that's a ton of TDs between the two of them.

On a side note, damn the Foot for taking the two guys I had que'd up. If I didn't get CJ1k, I was gonna target Marshall. Ah well, I'm still happy about my team. Good luck to all this year.

:agree:

Well looking at the teams I have to say that drone team does look pretty good..............and after reading what TREFF and TKO have been talking about as far as snipes go, makes me feel better as TREFF was just gonna grab the guys I wanted too...................if that makes sense.

Mine:

QB: Wilson
RB: Reggie (Seriously. Reggie Bush is my RB1.)
RB: Mendenhall
WR: Megatron
WR: Marshall
Flex: Gio Bernard
Def: Texans
K: Gostkowski

WR: Blackmon
WR: Vincent Brown
RB: Zac Stacy
RB: Moreno
QB: Stafford

My great strengths are my WRs and my backup QB. That won't get me far. Here's hoping I'm right on Bernard.

TK - Funny that we both have Stacy and Vincent Brown. Stacy maybe because that part of the draft doomed us to shoot for a possible starter with a late-round flier?

Yeah, I had 3 RB and had enough WR on the bench so grabbed Stacy. Had Blackmon targeted as well but changed my mind last second and picked Freeman to back up Ryan, already had 3 WR on the bench at that time.

Picked out of the 2 spot - B League

QB - Andrew Luck (6) - Love this guy this year, if not for the fact that they'll be playing from behind due to their poor defense, but also because I'm not thrilled even slightly with their RBs.
RB - CJ Spiller (1) - Maybe too high for him, also didn't realize this wasn't a PPR league, but I really like him to blow up even more this year. He's staying healthy, too, which is why I grabbed him.
RB - MJD (3) - Rounding out my RBs with a starter in the 3rd is good, especially when he's fully healthy and only 2 seasons removed from a 1600+ yard season. I have cautiously high hopes.
WR - Marques Colston (4) - Kind of regretted this pick as the draft went on, but he's just so damn consistent. Not too upset because I like my other starting WR a lot more.
WR - Dwayne Bowe (5) - Even with Alex Smith at QB, I think Bowe will put up dominant numbers in Andy Reid's offense. Not a top 5 WR, but hopefully close to top 10.
TE - Jimmy Graham (2) - Was thrilled to snag him at the end of the 2nd round. Clear-cut best TE in fantasy and should help make up for any shortcomings involving my WRs.
Flex - Deangelo Williams (7) - Not likely to be a stud, but JStew's ankle is worse than it seems IMO. I think Williams is the definite starter, and appears to still have some juice left. Hoping for 800/8.
K - Josh Brown (14) - He's a kicker. I did not make this pick as I was tired.
DEF - Baltimore (13) - I think they may be getting a lot of bad press despite what they are bringing back and also brought in. Will be a top 7-8 fantasy defense IMO.

Bench -
WR - Miles Austin (8) - An amicable bye week guy who could line up if Colston is out and potentially grab 12-15 points.
RB - Bryce Brown (9) - I plan on putting him in the flex at some point this year even if McCoy is healthy. This guy will get touches for sure.
RB - Fred Jackson (11) - Had to handcuff Spiller.
WR - Reuben Randle (10) - Guy has a ton of potential in that Giants offense, especially if Nicks isn't 100%.
QB - Joe Flacco (12) - Meh.

Oh it's fine, I always have a backup plan. And I landed Ridley and Cobb instead. Cobb isn't a true #1 but he'll still put up really good numbers.

Yep, I screwed up with Ridley. Except for that, i'm not totally unhappy with my team. Let's see how long it is before Mathews gets hurt again. He's my dark horse until that happens. :laugh3:

Chef, not sure if you've seen any preseason games? But I was watching the 2nd Chargers game and Mathews looks like a different runner. Running with a burst and downhill. (Averaging 6.0 ypc in preseason.) Didn't look like a guy that was coming off of 2 shoulder injuries. I bumped him up my charts a little after seeing how well he was running.

Thank you very much sir. Now we'll revisit this week 5 and see if we still feel that way. Hopefully so.

The Fuzzy attempt at a repeat in the A league- from the #6 slot:
QB- M Ryan- 5th
RB- M Lynch- 1st- couldn't pass him up at the 6th overall spot
RB- S Ridley- 2nd- felt that this year there would be early run on RBs, took best available
WR- A Johnson- 3rd- Fills the need of a solid #1 WR
WR- L Moore- 9th- Really like this guy with Brees tossing and Peyton coaching.
Flex- D Sprowls- 4th- Had Sprowls targeted for my flex. Had to grab him here to get him.
TE- V Davis- 6th- Had to stay ahead of the position run to get this guy. Could be as good as a WR2.
DST- Bengals- 10th- With the short bench wanted a top 5 DST as my only DST so grabbed early.
K- G Zuerlein- 14th- Greg the leg!

BN- D Jackson- 7th- Already lost his starting spot to L Moore. Decent WR3.
BN- V Ballard- 8th- Good last year. Bradshaw is fragile. Like him at RB4.
BN- K Britt- 11th- One of my sleepers. Looking for a return to glory.
BN- J Freeman- 12th- Hope to use him for one week in 2013.
BN- R Turbin- 13th- Handcuff for Lynch.

Stuck with my basic strategy of being on the leading edge of the lagging majority for most picks. I am pleased with my resulting team.

I landed Ryan and Freeman as well, Freeman will be playing the Eagles on Ryan's bye week and according to defense rankings they're in the lower tier this season projection wise.

Honestly I am thrilled to death with my team. Didn't think Charles would fall to the 6 spot and I couldn't pass up Brees in a 6 point QB touchdown league with the 19th pick. Was also surprised that Bush fell to me in the 4th round. 5th round was between Jordy Nelson, Danny Amendola, and Hakeem Nicks. Went with Nelson but might regret it later. Was completely shocked Josh Gordon was still there in the 11th round and Bilal Powell looked way too good the other night not to pick up on a flier. Hoping that either Bradshaw or Mendenhall pans out for me. Overall, I love my team, probably right up until week 1.

Really like that you were able to get Brees that late. I was hoping that he would fall to me at the end of the 2nd round, but getting Graham was a nice consolation. I am not high on Nelson at all, TBH. He has become such an injury risk and his explosiveness fell way off last year as opposed to 2011. Isn't there a good chance he won't start the season in the starting lineup? I do love the Gordon pick in the 11th though He could end up being a top 15 WR if Weeden gets his shit together, and it looks like he has. All in all, this was a terrific draft.

I see. Good luck to you! Remember, no praising my team here, I know your sneaky strategies! Hopefully, since we're in separate leagues, it won't work!! :)
