So definitely too late to change it for this year,

But IMO seeding should be based on either combined point total for the 2 teams or individual point total for the winner.

Because for example, Sam could hypothetically end up as the lowest scoring winner, yet earn a bye.

Regular season is 11 weeks because there are 12 playoff teams. First round (week 12, 12 teams still alive) there are 4 byes and 5 plays 12, 6 plays 11, and so on. Then the 2nd week (week 13, 8 teams still alive) the #1 seed plays the worst remaining seed, #2 plays the second worst remaining seed and so on and then the same thing week 14 (4 teams alive) with the best remaining seed playing the worst remaining seed and the other two teams playing, then the championship is the last two teams standing and they meet in weeks 15 and 16 with the winner having the highest combined score for the two weeks.

I looked at it in the BATG league and saw that after the draft I was picked to finish first and have dropped to 11th the last time I looked. I stopped looking at depressing stuff like that after that.

Here are the week 9 standings with all but four playoff spots clinched. Lefty has pretty much locked up a bye, but all of the other playoff spots are still up for grabs.

WEEK 10 STANDINGS

So with one week of the regular season to go, there are still three playoff positions to be determined. Joe and Stomp are still slugging it out at the #1 draft position. Tlance and BK have combined for 528 more points than Joe and Stomp but are still deadlocked and Foot and Face are tied in the race for best body part. The playoff seeding was tweaked a little bit based on last week's results. Remember the top 4 seeds get a bye in round 1 of the playoffs which start week 12.
