Week 13 results

Okay, so we had our first lower seed win last win with Treff taking down TKO.

#1 Milk (121.9) vs. #8 Chef (109.1)
#2 TKO (85.5) vs. #7 Treff (87.6)
#3 Fuzzy (103.9) vs. #6 Tlance (73.5)
#4 Lefty (110.2) vs. #5 Stomp (63.4)

That sets up the semi-finals matcups of:

#1 Milk vs. #7 Treff (B vs. A) in a battle of best friends
#3 Fuzzy vs. #4 Lefty (A vs. A) in a battle of co-owners from D1

So Milk is the last hope for the B league, but if you're going to have a last hope, the guy who scored the most points in both leagues is a good hope to have.

On a side note, for those of you interested in the actual playoff pictures of both suicide leagues:

In the A league Fuzzy has clinched his division, Lefty has clinched his division. The other division Tlance and Barilko are tied at the top at 7-6 with Tlance holding just a 7.8 point advantage and they don't play each other this week, so one of them will win the division, but who wins and how many points they score will determine who it is. The wild card will be either TKO or Bandit. TKO has a one game lead, so if he wins he is in. If he loses and Bandit wins and TKO doesn't outscore Bandit by 38 points then Bandit would be in.

In the B league Trudem has clinched his division, Milk has clinched his division, and Chef has clinched his division. The wild card is completely up for grabs between BK, Jwolt, Harold, and Face. If Harold beat Jwolt this week, he will be in because he has a lot more points than everybody else that is 7-6. If Harold loses and Face wins, Face will be in because he has a lot more points than BK and Jwolt. If Face loses also and it comes down to Jwolt and BK, Jwolt has a 37.4 point advantage right now that BK would have to make up.

So the battle for cross-league suicide championship will come down to two A leaguers. Treff knocked out Milk last week and Lefty took down Fuzzy to set up a two week championship game between MBBRL commissioners Treff and Lefty.

And now you cry babies that were worried about me changing their league to the A league if they won don't have to worry for another year. LOL.

In the actual suicide leagues, the A league playoffs look like this:

Well, once Kupp went on IR, Gordon was suspended, and I had already lost Crow and Jimmy G, the Tate trade working out exactly like i said it would for everyone BUT Tate, not to mention the utterly wasted roster spot of DeAngelo Henderson..I never really thought I had a shot. Timely effort by Rudy and Drake, along with Zeke and Luck, pulled me through.

Shocked I managed to make it to the finals in the B league with all those red letters. Lamar Miller also going out so early killed my chances of making any noise. Was a fun year though

Seems Suicide always boils down to a war of attrition in the end. You were at least able to field a 'team' once we got down to the playoffs. .... I had great 'luck' the 2 yrs prior (don't think I had a single player on IR) so I was due for the dam to break - it did. ..... the Hunt thing was a real kick in the teeth.
