No. It is just a now long running gag, mostly at my expense. And, to think, I thought that enough of the folks I wanted to avoid had left there, possibly giving me the opportunity to post there again.

Then, someone comes on and esentially calls me and my fantasy playing basically a bunch of bluster and bullshit, making it VERY clear to me that I am not wanted there.

I guess that is what I get by putting myself out as a fantay expert, and, not winning each and every league I join. I guess people forget, that when coming to me for advice or info, they get exactly what they pay for, in that I am not doing anything, and don't know more about fantasy baseball then the next guy. All I was doing was putting myself out there, and trying to help people as best I could when they asked me.

I also never saw anyone jump up / lump in to take my place, so, I thought I was doing a good service.

Not everyone thinks so it seems......

Ah, you're ok in my book. No one gives correct advice 100% of the time, anyway.

And a bunch of those who do get paid for it are far worse than you, the Good Rev, Tlance and Philabuster, that's for sure.

You guys should do a hostile takeover of CBS.

The only part that would confuse me is, why do you not include yourself as well?

P.S: I keep checking that daily thread, and, I seemed to have clear the room. Some people just attract other people, whereas I tend to repel them.

I'm more like the red-headed stepchild of our little group. Just don't call me "Nando"!:lol::lol:

On CBS, I think I posted about 10 times a year on how I would much rather read what a board poster had to say about a player or team than anyone who writes/wrote for CBS, and, would put a lot of those same posters above a lot of the baseball talking heads i read regularly.

I still feel that is true now that I am here, and, the guys in our league would be at the top of that list.

Well guys, that leads me perfectly into what's been on my mind for a few days.
I wrote an article for dynastyguru.com as kind of an application per se. Unfortunately, it appears that they've gone with a writer from a different site. (lots of good articles already on display vs my first one ever sent via email....not to mention there were many other applicants as well)

So....having the taste of writing a real article for the first time, I'm interested in starting a website ...not my own! but one we could share and do what we do. My first idea was to ask you guys if any of you would be interested. We could develop a plan here...ie strengths of each writer, a plan on what we could provide, and then we could do it :)
Twitter is huge for marketing the site so we'd need a heavy presence. I think it's doable. I think we have the right people. I know a few more from my league too who would help. It could be done if there was enough interest.
Truthfully, I work 75 hours a week and get one day off, so for me to do more than 1 good article a week would be pushing it. I can post 50 tweets a day promoting it while I work, but it'd need to be a collaborative effort.
If anyone is interested, let's talk about it over the next week or two. There's really no rush. I'd like to do it right if we could. And if we shared resources/talents, who knows? Maybe we'd be successful :)
Food for thought. Not pressing to jump in right away...but now that Chef threw that out there, might as well at least think on it :)

Thanks for considering and for hopefully not laughing at the idea ha!
There's a lot of experience and talent in this group

I think that's an awesome idea. Whatever I can do to help, let me know.

It amazes me that the Cardinals have such great pitching depth that they can afford to put Wacha in a relief spot. I am in awe of their farm system. :omg:

I did the same thing when rotoprofessor put up a page looking for writers for their site since it's run by one guy.
I'd be up for that if something can be put together. I haven't been on DUB's site since it opened, but would that be an option and or starting point. I don't know what they have as far as articles and such. I'd check myself but with the slow ass computer I'm currently using, I only have the patience to check what I need and an occasional blurb on here.

Just for a reminder, this is the last weekend to make any trades...!!! Who's in? Who's out? For me, I'm looking for a SP. I have any one of the following available.

Adrian Gonzalez (will take probably more than you're willing to give)
Curtis Granderson (I like Grandy a little more than Brett, but ...)
Brett Gardner (would like to move one of these Yanks the most)
Rajai Davis (with Colby out, should have lots of SB... and comes much cheaper than everyone else here)
Will Middlebrooks (hitting doubles, anyone need corner help?)

Not a bad offer Fuzzy, but I like Gonzo's value a little more...

As it will be a miracle for me to finish any higher than 6th this year, the only trade I would make would be my scrub for your stud, as that would be the only way to help me now. And, I respect you guys and this league too much to make any such offending offer.

I suppose I can add Adam Jones and Leonys Martin to the mix, anyone's available for the right price.
