Hmmm...Samardzija with two starts against the Nats and Pads next week, and I think i'm gonna bench him.

I would seriously think twice about that, those are some nice matchups for him to rebound with. The Nats aren't scaring anyone and while the Pads can be fluky at times, lots of K's set up for you there, IMO.

Yeah, but I just read something about his velocity dropping, so I don't know....I really do love the match-ups.

Btw, I also think Beachy is gonna be a gem for the stretch run. I would've preferred to move Cobb, but oh well. If Grandy can wake up and produce me some runs, i'll be happy.

Friggin' Brandon Belt...is this guy suddenly for real? He's got some tough match-ups next week so we'll see, but I think that might really come back to hurt me.

He's awake, batting .429 this week or something like that. I too like Beachy's matchups for the stretch run...(there, I just ruined it didn't I?). Hopefully, the Braves' bats can keep scoring runs.

My computer buddy had some extra ram sticks laying around so I was able to double what I had. That along with deleting all the worthless programs I had installed that won't be running in the background and I've got a pretty functionable computer again. And I found out the copy of microsoft office I had is good for up to 3 computers so life is good once again. :typing:

I still have to fix my computer. I plugged an old monitor into it and everything works which is a plus. I just have to replace the AV cable which I can pay somebody 150-200 to fix or do it myself. I'm taking the Tim Taylor route as I hate paying somebody to do something I can do myself (although It will take me several more hours to do than an expert).

As for Trades I'm with D on this one. I've done everything I could do but to no avail. The only thing left to do is play for 11th place "that's right, I'm coming for you Sam".
I guess It's just my turn to suck (at least as far as this league is concerned )

I am tightening up my Belt (pun intended) for the stretch run. I thought about making an offer to TKO for one of his hitters but the Belt acquisition made my need much less.
I still have a surplus of quality pitchers if someone want to try to make a last minute deal. Make me an offer.

I will be ready for a stiff belt tomorrow afternoon. 4 tennis matches in 3 days...that after walking for 7 days with a 45 pound pack. Ready for some down time with the MBBRL FFB draft tomorrow sitting on my doopa in front of the computer screen.

I still remember racing my brother to get the Saturday paper....
We'd pour over it for hours calculating our team eras and whips haha.
Then we'd have it folded to just show the half page where the team stat were, and we'd take turns staring it at for a few days. By Thursdays, we were counting down until the next one.
Crazy the changes this game has gone through.
I miss the live drafts. Hoping to do one next year

3 weeks until the playoffs! Looking crazy tight for the last 2 spots. TKO, Fuzzy and Treff have a lot of games against one another too. There is also a chance that all 3 get in if WHIP falls apart. Will be an awesome finish! Good luck to all.
