Definitely, recaps and previews are always great... know they never go unread! Great work guys.

Also, I wanted to add, with the H2H, sometimes it's not so much "luck" with matchups, but putting the right matchups out there each week. Still, the roto standings make me feel better!

To me, the luck in H2H is tied into who will be, remain, or become healthy, and if said info become known early enough for you to make the necessary roster changes before the rosters become locked on Monday.

When I talk about Luck (which probably isn't the right word), I mean the luck of the matchup against the other guy. Like when you play the guy with the hot offense but his hitters shuts down the week he plays you. Or you play what looks like a week hitting team that decides to have the week of their lives after putting along in mediocrity. Or playing against the staff that puts up an ERA below 2 or a WHIP below 1 when they've put up numbers that don't even come close to that this year.

Philabuster has a very good team but they don't steal 9 bases or hit 18 home runs every week, and if you happen to be the lucky guy who plays them that week it don't matter how well you played the matchups.

Thank you for pointing out a BIG point, that I previously overlooked. In Roto, no matter how you slice it, it is you and the guys you have stats on the year that matter. In H2H, where you and your opponents "hot meter" is at the moment will go a long way indetermining that weeks winner.

DON'T DO THIS ANYONE, as you do too much research for our enjoyment anyway. But, one could figure up how a team might end up by having exactly the same stats each and every week, with only the opponets stats changing weekly, and seeing how that team would come out in a full fantasy year.

My guess, especially with this bunch, is around the same .500 that most of us are just barely over or under at this point.

:agree:

I don't think I have thanked you guys yet for all of that hard work you put into this each week. If it wasn't for you guys I wouldn't know how bad I suck and how bad I'm gonna suck from week to week.

They shame me as being a commish in other leagues. I put a lot of work in getting guys together, and in getting leagues running. After that, I am always too busy to chat about the fantasy I am doing and thinking about, and too busy trying to juggle and improve all of my teams.

My leagues suffer becasue of this.

Sam, your team really isn't that bad...a couple of guys get hot and you get some good match-ups, it's a whole new ballgame.

Now, let's talk some trash! Philabuster, the Tigers are goin' DOWN this week!

And of course, this is also going to happen...:flypig::flypig::flypig:

Scary part is that I'm starting him this week in one league over Gee at home vs Washington in a pts league.
Another gut call. I think I'm 0-10 so far this year on odd lineup calls. Haha
I always laugh about them on Mondays and cry on Sundays :)

A quick, throwaway - Did you know.

Did you know that Jonathan Papelbon has younger twin brothers? Josh & Jeremy. They were both talented enough to play college ball, and both did pretty well. They turned 30 today.

Truthfully, being commish of a league like this is really easy. The commish only really has to work when league members aren't playing fairly or aren't being active. You guys are so active and skilled as owners that this league could run itself.

The previews are fun to write. I always get a kick out of seeing how wrong I am.
