Unbelievable. . One more hit. . One more walk. .One more RBI to get a 9-1 victory with a league leader in HR's, and maybe the hottest hitter in the majors this week each having at least 2 more AB's, and they call the game after 5!!! FRACK!!!

The Matchups:

1. Big D Dudes 4.5 vs Fuzzy Dingers 5.5
Fuzzy Dingers hit 13 home runs and had 13 stolen bases, but other wise this was a pretty close match up all the Each team remains in place in the standings; both looking at playoff berths. (unless Big D gets booted off Fantrax)

2. Sportsboys 7.5 vs DUB 2.5
The Sportsboys pulled into a tie for 7th place with this big win over last place DUB. Sportsboys swept the hitting categories while winning 5 games and striking out 61 batters (11 starts) on the pitching side. The battle for saves went right down to the final game on Sunday in the tightest category match up, but ended at 0-0.

3. Fudpackers 7.5 vs Soggy Bottom Boyz 2.5
Third place Fudpackers laid a beating on the Soggy Bottom Boyz , but Chef's team didn't perform as poorly as it seems. Fudpackers won 4 pitching categories but the hitting ones were all close. Soggy Bottom Boyz didn't lose any ground in the standings but his spot at #6 became more tenuous with only 5 games separating teams 6-10.

4. Grand Salamis 6.5 vs Balls and Spikes 3.5
tlance deserves a paid vacation after his team's performance last week. 45IP, 56K, .91 WHIP and a 2.20 ERA from the pitchers and a 12 HR effort from his hitters keeps him atop the standings with a 9 game lead over the Wolfpack. Balls and Spikes had a great week himself but just came up against the wrong team at the wrong time.

5. WolfPack 6 vs Ram Tough 4
Sonny Gray came through on Sunday, allowing Ram Tough to steal wins and strikeouts on the pitching side. WolfPack's 0.99 WHIP and 2.44 ERA would have given him the free vacation but tlance stole it from him. Now back to work Rev! Both offenses slacked off but the Pack was able to win 3 categories; enough to solidify his spot at #2 in the standings

6. Toro Tigers 5 vs WHIP your FIP 5
The Tigers may have had their best pitching week, but it was only enough to nab 3 categories, while WHIP took 3 hitting categories in another anemic offensive battle. (Tigers won OBP .313 to .307) Both teams have an uphill climb to make the playoffs.

Yikes...yep, I'm very happy they called that game. It was obviously the right thing to do.

Thanks for the props Paul, but my pitching stunk this week. I had three more starts (I think), and couldn't get K's..or wins. I barely escaped a 9-1 loss with some hitting over the weekend... tied up the HR, then Dozier hits two late Sunday to grab it back!

Do I have to put Joe Kelly in to prevent a zero pitch score? Based on his last start I would not normally start him but I would like to hold him on my bench to see if he pitches himself out of his one game funk. Iwould end up with a non-start SP in my lineup.

If you go to your team and click on schedule/period it should show you what fantrax has as of today. Anyone else you'll have to do the old fashion search through the weekend matchups and check manually. Everyone on your team is showing except Verlander & Zimmermann who may be placed on the DL.

Good god thank you! 15 minutes ago I looked and Smyly was not starting.................now I look and it shows him starting on Sunday........................

Koeler is starting Monday, the Reds haven't announced anything since Latos is up in the air.
