Hey Rev, I wouldn't feel too bad. Even with two of your All Stars down, you're still ahead of the game.

I wasn't shooting for ahead of the game, I was going for total domination. Guess I'll take the all-star break and see if I can get me a pitcher.

Me too! Interesting trade in the keeper, btw. Guess you gave up on Machado.

This whole closer thing is pretty interesting to watch. Looks to me like Joe Smith and Rex Brothers are being showcased pretty heavily, with Soria and Papelbon being now-frequently mentioned as trade targets. I think Benoit and Street are still leading the league in rumors.

Let's see if these GMs get together over the All Star break for a coupla drinks and figure things out.

Wow. Jean Segura's 9 month old son has passed away. Not sure of the details, if it was sudden, accidental, or something they've dealt with since birth... could explain his down season if it's the latter? We often dismiss a player's personal life when analyzing. Heart and thoughts out to the Segura family.

It is a sad and tragic thing, and certainly could be something ongoing that no one outside the family knew about. In any event, my prayers go out to the Segura family.

Some of you may have thought I sold Wright a little short...and maybe I did. I do think Gardner is underrated though, and to be honest, I am just sick of McCan't trying to hit through the defensive shift that's on him... I like Big Sal and the surging Royals for the second half.

Then Wright goes 4-4 with another bomb, and I gulped I admit... but in the long run, hopefully Gardner's runs and swipes get me where I need to be....

...now, to turn Khrush Davis and Mike Minor into a power upgrade...:hope:

to those that rejected, would an upgrade of my arm do it? or is moving down to Davis not an option?

Query- I thought Fantrax prevented us from dropping a player and trying to claim them until they cleared waivers. But it looks like this is an odd quirk with Fantrax as Chef was able to reclaim Pearce off the waiver even though I had a claim in. I am right about this quirk?

I noticed that awhile back about Fantrax. Different from Yahoo in that respect.

Well Chef, Hr's, RBI's, maybe OB, ERA and WHIP all up for grabs tomorrow. And oddly enough, SB's too! First time since week 1 I've been concerned about losing that category. Friggin Dee Gordon hasn't stolen one all week.

Definitely not interested in Minor, but also I don't really have anybody who I want to drop at the moment.

I guess so.

To be honest, I did not like that about Y!

You should be able to use your waiver priority to pick up anyone, whether you dropped them or someone else did, IMO.

Rock the Vogt!!!

Ha, I have no idea if this guy is gonna be anything special; his history indicates otherwise. I just really wanted to use that line.

I like the idea of getting Wright; I like Zimmerman but with all his injuries in the past, I just don't trust him. Gardner has done great for me and while I think he's underrated, I think he was playing over his head. I love Perez and that was the one thing holding me back. McCann is just a warm body to hold down the catchers fort in my mind where Perez was someone I was excited to have in there. In the end, I'd rather have the insurance for third and cross my fingers on McCann then have Zimmerman go down and scramble for a replacement.
