Dunno if anyone has done the research, but I wonder if strikeouts are up this year. Seems like everyone and their brother are averaging 7-9 KOs per game...

I don't know if the numbers would back or up or not. . But I've felt like there's been an increasing sense of complacency, both with the hitters and the managers, that striking out is ok. Never used to get that feeling.

Mets are on pace for 1568 ks which is more than astros last year 1535 but braves were 3rd at 1384 but won their division and yes they won with the all or nothing swing
