Ha! Of all 12 teams, I'm the one that you all would most look at and say. ."well I've got HR's this week". Wouldn't shock me if I don't hit another one the next 4 days.

Billy Hamilton seems to get caught stealing every time he's a pinch runner... just like a closer getting rocked in a non-save situation.

Well, seems fitting, Kyle Seager finally decided to hit last night

Actually he started the night before, but let's not split hairs. ;)

TKO - Soooo many times I almost put in a claim for Dunn last night, just couldn't decide who to drop. Ah, well....there's your HR guy with a nice OBP and runs scored thrown in as a bonus.

Dunno if anyone has done the research, but I wonder if strikeouts are up this year. Seems like everyone and their brother are averaging 7-9 KOs per game...

...except for my pitchers, of course. :bawling::bawling::bawling:

I don't know if the numbers would back or up or not. . But I've felt like there's been an increasing sense of complacency, both with the hitters and the managers, that striking out is ok. Never used to get that feeling.

I wonder if there is a study that proves that teams who are losing strike out more than teams that are winning the game... To me this would make sense because the team losing may be going for the BIG hit instead of the just get on base hit...

Mets are on pace for 1568 ks which is more than astros last year 1535 but braves were 3rd at 1384 but won their division and yes they won with the all or nothing swing:suds:

Then I changed my counter to my original counter. Chef, if you don't like it counter mine before you counter Jim's................

Don't you dare counter my counter with his counter before I can counter :what:

Hey Paul, there's no more room at the counter. Go grab a table, the waitress will be right with you.
