Hey, I'm curious - would you have accepted that offer? My gut tells me no, but I put it out there.

Yeah, the more I think about it the more I wonder if that was a bad trade for me............Torri will start hitting again but hey, when your ERA is over 4 for 2 straight weeks you gotta try something........at least he gets K's.

Seriously, I think that was a pretty even trade. Could go either way for either one of us, or like the Rev said, benefit us both. As bad as my pitching has been, I was kinda torn, but with all the injuries and losing Myers, I figured he might be good insurance.

Well here are my thoughts: Please feel free (anybody) to tell me if I'm full of shit (on this matter as we all know I'm about 95% full of shit). I have 2 OF's that are going to miss time damn near every week and very likely could end up on the DL sometime this year (Crisp and Pegan). Torri has been relatively healthy and even when he is cold he is at least startable. Kluber will for sure hit my rotation and as of right now isn't a match up play on my sorry ass staff. So, for me maybe not the smartest trade but for sure it was fair. I need to take a chance..................(says the guy who traded AP and Nicks for Lynch and DJax last year............that worked out well for me).

Wondering the exact same thing. Like Choice getting the time but would rather see Martin leading off and Choice somewhere 6-8
