Let me make my money chef!!!



He may be struggling, but he still has 14 walks... That is a great sign in an OBP league... and do to that he is still around average in runs...

Now, Prince's career BA is .280+ and this season he is only hitting .207 so far... so we have to assume he will hit a Hot streak soon... But even when he struggles he is still an above average player...

Also, he may be a fat slob, but he has never played less than 157 games in a season... So you don't have to worry about injury...

You may want to trade for him now, because when he gets it going chef is going to want more than just King Felix and his measly 3 fantasy stats!!!

Prince may only be a 3 category guy now.

There is a reason that his BA has dropped the last 2 years: the shift. Part of it is decline, part is that he pulls the ball too much, but he might be a .250-.260 hitter at this point. Also, do not bet on more than 30 HRs. It ain't happening. Fielder's only real elite category is RBI.

I would not deal King Felix for Prince. Sorry Chef.

How do you guys value Charlie Blackmon and Chris colabello?? I have them in a bunch of leagues and they are helping me. But I fear their downfalls.

I like Blackmon quite a bit, and am kind of ashamed that I fell for the Dickerson hype, not to mention the Stubbs/Barnes scenario. I was really high on Blackmon two years ago, but he never did quite get a real shot... in Colorado? go figure! As for Coca-Colabello, I would think he can keep up this pace to an extent (not as many 1 game bunches of RBI), but I think he's a good contact hitter, with good gap power, making Minnesota a nice home park for him.

Same here. I don't see them having a lot of value in the fact that you're not going to get a big or dependable name for them in a trade. If someone offered you something of value I'd take it as I don't see either one keeping up this kind of production all year (Blackmon somewhat maybe, Colabello no).
I'm just happy with what they are doing and riding the wave as long as I can, so sit back and enjoy the ride while it lasts.

I don't know if they can keep it up, but why for heaven's sake would the Rockies ever take Blackmon out of the lineup right now? He is literally the best hitter in baseball at the moment.
