Good game Sam. Chef, good luck in the kitchen fire we're about to dive into! At least you know you got saves this week! Attempt #1 at save punting, we shall see....

Worked out pretty good for me last year....................I got Trout!

Exhibit A on the merits of saves+holds.. But let's not beat that dead horse 'till next year.

Personally I hated punting saves last year, hated it.

Good luck, TKO! I think we both need to get it in gear...
Thanks Chef- I am following from afar- Look at it in the early AM then hope nothing changes.

I say start beating it now :deadhorse: the more votes next year the better.

And good game Tlance. I was hoping to get a win, but I guess I'm just happy not being in last.

Yes. Good game. Somehow I think that game might have been a little different if you had Kershaw in there instead of Erik Johnson....

Bro, I've got dl woes of my own. Although, I was shocked when I saw your changes to the trading block. It really didn't register with me until then just how many injured guys you've got. :what:

Week 2 Recap: This will be short and sweet. Enjoy.

A League Standings-

Tlance- 16-3-1
Fuzzy- 15-5
Ram- 13-6-1
Sam- 13-7
Jim- 11-8-1
Kevin- 10-10
Dub- 7-10-3
D Dude- 6-11-3
Treff- 7-13
Paul- 6-13-1
TKO- 6-14
Chef- 5-15

Tlance 7.5, Reverend Jim 2.5: For the 2nd week in a row, this result is not as much about Tlance's team being good as it is about Jim's not playing well. Tlance took 4.5 out of 5 pitching cats against Jim's elite staff.

Ram 8.5, Big D 1.5: Big D's team actually played well this week. He deserved a much better result. Ram's team was on fire in all facets.

Fuzzy 7, Chef 3: There were 8 cats that could have swung the other way in 1 or 2 ABs. This game was stupid close. Chef's team is not as bad as the standings look.

Sam 5, TKO 5: This game was very close all the way and there were many cats within the matchup that could have swung in either direction.

Pail 5.5, Dub 4.5: Dub's hot hitting was not quite enough to beat Paul's hot pitching. Week 1 is a distant memory for Paul's crew.

Kevin 8, Treff 2: Treff got a ton of steals, but not much else.Kevin rebounding from a tough week 1 loss.

Prospect League Standings-

Foot- 14-5-1
Molsan- 13-4-3
Milk- 13-6-1
OBX- 10-6-4
Smitty- 10-7-3
Brock- 8-11-1
Redseat- 7-10-3
AZ Sting- 8-12
Micro- 8-12
Trudem- 7-12-1
Driaz- 6-11-3
JD- 5-13-2

Smitty 8.5, Trudem 1.5: Smitty was just a little better everywhere, but this game was closer than the score would indicate.

Milk 8.5, JD 1.5: Dee Gordon was the only hitter who did his job for JD and Milk's pitching is pretty awesome.

Foot 7, Micro 3: Both teams hit well, but Foot's was better. Foot also rode more innings pitched to victories in wins and Ks.

Molsan 7, Redseat 3: Some of the cats here (like ERA and WHIP) were ridiculously close. Neither team deserved to lose and Redseat was the unfortunate one.

Brock 6, AZ Sting 4: The Matt Moore injury may have cost AZ a point or two.

OBX 5, Driaz 5: Driaz ruled the hitting cats, while OBX dominated pitching this week.

As always, nice write-up! Foot's in first place! Tlance, if you get a chance can you post his team? I've been curious to see it since we started.

For those counting at home, the A league leads in an astounding 9 of 10 categories. Prospects, you have your work cut out for you. These boys know what they are doing.

Thanks for the write-up tlance. Always enjoyable!

A cool thing about fantrax that I only just noticed is that from live scoring you can toggle your leagues...kind of nice.

Thanks for hitting us with the sweet poem of "league love talk" tlance. Week 2 for DUB was another close one and I have a feeling the long baseball season will be noting but a nail bitter for me, thankfully I'm not a nail bitter in real life because I'd be hitting bone by week 7!

play ball!!!!!!

I'm afraid my A.J. Pollock prediction has come up short in the first three weeks, and now with Ross coming back, and Gibson saying Ross will be his regular LF, it likely leaves Pollock in a platoon at best with Parra. I really thought he was gonna light it up this year and stay at the top of the order against all pitching...

pains me that I might have to drop him this week.

Still not the worlds greatest when it comes to rating a baseball team but that infield looks about as strong as I've seen! So you must have drafted 12th and took Davis/Tulo? Shame about Hamilton as he was actually looking pretty good.
