Sanchez blocked the plate, runner was called safe, Cole charged with an earned run. I don't even have Cole, but I'm curious. I guess an illegal play by the catcher (dumb rule, imo) penalizes the pitcher?

Guess it would have to. I'd put it more in the category of mental error more so than actual error in terms of scoring. And mental errors by fielder's have always counted as earned runs. I think they'd need a rules change to charge an error to the catcher on those plays in order to affect the scoring of the play.

Hmmmm, I noticed you have 4, count them, 4 3B eligible players on your team and I only have 1...............and he sucks so far. I also noticed you have a few injured pitchers on your roster too. Me, I have like a lot of decent pitchers (Lackey comes to mind). Wonder if Lackey is worth any of those 3 baggers you have.............................just sayin.
