I'm happy. I thought it would take a bit more work to get that done. I think it's a little aggressive on both sides but it has the potential to make us both pretty happy.

I agree. Ironically, the person I was most hesitant to give up was Vereen. Go figure.

I'm a little patriots heavy now, though. Gronk could go before the bye at a reasonable price to help me past the bye issues.

I'd be interested on thoughts on this move, btw. I do think I should be in solid shape for a playoff run if I get there and I hit some upside on these guys(/Brady?), but I expect Peyton to be better fantasy-wise down the stretch than usual as he may be pressed for the division.

Not lookin' so great right now...

QB - Russell Wilson
RB - Eddie Lacy
RB - TRich
WR - Golden Tate
WR - Dwayne Bowe
TE - Heath Miller
Flex - James Jones
K - Matt Bryant
DST - Seahawks

Bench

MJD
Andre Brown
Roddy White
Peyton Manning
Eric Decker

Really counting on Jones or Roddy to play this week, and even if they do, it might be a stretch thinking they'll do well. But we'll see!

I think this trade was fairly even for both. I initially thought Chef made out like a bandit(I still do kinda b/c of the numbers Peyton is putting up), but he had to give up a lot of depth from his team. However, he did add Decker as well so that team of he and Peyton could be deadly as well.

JDM is taking some huge risks rolling with a struggling Brady, and Vareen and Harvin who may or may not do damage when they actually return. But with risk can come reward. If Brady can return to form and Harvin gets going, his receivers could be set up nicely.

Chef is the trade master. This is a lop sided trade IMO.

Chef put up his best player Marshall,(* whos # are going to drop like a rock without Cutler playing) plus some depth he pick up on waiver claims for.....Peyton Manning , who has up 273 FF points, heck if does half of that the rest of the year it will be more then the players Chef traded away. Then Chef gets Eric Decker who has put up 80 ff points.

Chef has just become a contender.

JDM big hope is for Harvin to really produce some points, could happen, just not right away. He's also banking on Brady to bounce back in a big way.

I'm a homer, but I'm not a lone.

I wasn't winning before this trade. I feel that this way I have the potential for a run.

I agree you needed to make a move,it's just that I think this wasn't the right move. You could and should of got more then you did.

Harold, anyone who trades Julius Thomas for Jared Cook can't possibly be called a "trade master". :laugh3:

That's exactly how I feel. It's the reason I held onto some of the injured guys, but I just ran out of patience with them. It's time to go bold or go home, don't ya think? :suds:

And u did bro. I think ur team got better. U added the top fant player and a WR that pretty much arched Marshall's output.

You've had two stick ups this season. The trade for Marshall, then trading away Marshall for Peyton Manning. You did all of this without a gun. Amazing!

It would have needed to be with a different trade partner, then. There was literally no one else on his team I had interest in.

I understand where the values are ATM but I expect to change in the fairly short term, and there weren't a lot of other moves I could have made with similar upside to this one.

How am I being a homer here? Vereen helped make this go but it's not because he's a patriot.
