MBBRL 2016 SUICIDE DRAFT

like most others here, I'm commish on several leagues and know that it is often times a thankless job.
Even if it isn't hard, it still takes time.

I can relate. Got a funny story for you.
I'm commish of one league on ESPN and try to keep it light by posting scores and find funny or relevant GIF's to associate with each score recap. Keep in mind I do this every week after the Monday night game.
No one ever said anything about my recaps or the GIF's.
So I finally asked a few of the guys in the league if they like it?
Turns out, most of them use their cell phone to adjust their lineups and never look at the message board.

At least they started to at that point.


On a completely different note, the Suicide article will be up on Fantasy Assembly on Friday.
Note that it completely evolved into something else.
Instead of a summary of the entire Suicide draft, it focuses only on a few key picks, but still shows the way all of the RB and WR were drafted.
Really appreciate the comments and I do use some of them, quoting the owner.
Of course, it's still an article from my perspective, but I think I was fair to present both sides.

Not to worry it will get quicker once all the figgin updates load. BTW - it's poor on advising of the updates so you have to restart a few times on your own. ....

I did not really avoid any specific players, but I wanted to be as safe as possible the first 3 rounds, thereby avoiding RBs. I would only take a guy like AP in this format.

Dolphin RBs, CIN RBs, NYJ WRs (although that one may come back to bite me), Gore, Ravens RBs, DEN RBs. But if the value was ridiculously good (2 rds or more) - I would have taken anyone of them. .......

The only one that comes to mind was Romo. Two broken collarbones. (And this is behind the best line in football presumably?)

That was pretty much my attitude.
Already tried the "I'll never draft this guy approach" in previous seasons. But then some of my own players made me regret picking them. I figure a good value in the middle/late rounds is still worthy of a shot.

Monkey mentioned Gore. I was actually targeting Gore hoping that everyone else would feel like Monkey did.
Then TKO swiped him.
Don't care if he's ancient. Without Luck to keep defenses honest, Gore still managed 1K all-purpose yards and maintained his 3-year average of 77 yards per game. And now Luck is back.
