Bored @ Work so time for a Draft Recap

QB Carson Palmer 7th, Marcus Mariota 12th- can't complain about the combo, happy to have Carson as my starter

RB Lamar Miller 2nd, Mark Ingram 4th, L Blount 10th, Kenneth Dixon 11th- Was very happy/surprised to see Ingram there in the 4th. Blount could be a waste of roster space but then again he will have his weeks. Dixon is intriguing to me, he could easily be Baltimore's starting back in the 2nd half of the season.

WR Dez 1st, Randall Cobb 4th, Eric Decker 5th, Kevin White 6th, Mohammad Sanu 13th- I really like my group of receivers, in a league where you start 3 Wrs a week i couldn't be more happier. I just need Fitz to sign with the Jets or Decker could be a flop.

TE Coby Fleener 8th- Love Fleener this year, could easily be a Top 5 TE in 16' with the Saints and Brees. Wish I took a backup TE though

K Roberto Aguayo 14th- Best rookie Kicker to come out in the past decade. Should have plenty of opportunities with the Bucs offense.

Def- Bengals 9th- Good not great

Draft Grade: A- I really like this team coming into the season, very balanced attack. I cant see a weakness in the roster barring injuries (which will occur) Drafting out of the 11th hole i really wouldn't change much in the way I drafted.

Pick write ups for Joe: I am typing in my phone, so I apologize in advance for typos:

Round 1: Gronk- Gronk was best player available at 10. I knew I could get one of ARob, Charles, Miller or Martin coming back in round 2.
Round 2: Allen Robinson: had I not chosen Gronk in round 1, I would have taken ARob. I was thrilled he was the player who fell. I would have hated to not grab a WR in either round 1 or 2.
Round 3: Cam Newton- again, went BPA. I am not going to surpass those picking ahead of me by drafting RB or WR scraps here. I needed an edge and I believe I got it.
Round 4: Carlos Hyde- high risk pick here, but Hyde could be a top 5 RB in Kelly's system. Worth the gamble for sure.
Round 5: Julian Edelman- another injury risk, but Edelman is a player who fell way too far. Love the value at the end of the 5th.
Round 6: Ryan Mathews: another good value pick. Landed my second RB and another guy who has the ability to be an every week starter for me.
Round 7: SEA DST- I believe drafting a high end defense in this format is absolutely vital. He DSTs actually score pretty well here. To lock up a good one, you either have to invest early or burn 2 roster spots. Since we only have 5 bench spots, I am not taking the 2nd route.
Round 8: Corey Coleman- Coleman is the Browns #1 WR and I believe He has a good chance to produce in year 1, despite the limitations of the offense around him.
Round 9: Isaiah Crowell- top RB left on my board. I don't love the idea of owning 2 Browns, but somebody has to produce for them, right?
Round 10: Markus Wheaton- I wanted a safe bye week replacement option and I think I found it in Wheaton. I don't think he offers much upside, but he should be on the field often in a pass heavy offense. I like that.
Round 11: sterling Shepard- all I really need is for 1 of my rookies to hit. Don't care which one does.
Round 12: gostkowski- I was first to take a TE, first to draft a QB, second to go DST and 1st going K. In most formats, this would be a bad idea. In this one, where you get zero roster moves it is a pretty shrewd way to gain a weekly advantage.
Round 13: Bilal Powell- needed an RB with a decent sized role. Powell fit the bill nicely.
Round 14: Ryan Tannehill- needed another QB and Tranny was best available.
