TREFF
Fantasy Football Guru--??
My main reasons, and some are the same reasons I gave to avoid him last year- in no particular order, becuase they are all worthy of losing the job, any one could easily happen.Haha, don't get me started on how you thought Ingram was a risk in a trade I offered, but 'dropsie' was a STUD in a different deal...
To quote the great, forever underrated Richard Pryor: "I may be dumb, but I ain't stupid."![]()
- He's not a great athlete. He's good at running between tackles not great. He's good at hitting the edge, not great. He's subpar at making people miss, and average at best at breaking tackles. So he's all around, very good, but not great at anything. Hillman is great at some, bad at others. Sometimes you need greatness and will forgo what they can't do to get it. And Booker, is Hillman, in CJ's body. .that's not good news for him either.
- The line wasn't upgraded, in fact it lost some of the few good members it had. CJ only broke free for those few games becuase Brock was there to move OLB's out of the middle towards the edges, becuase now they had to cover the underneath sideline routes that they weren't worried about with Peyton, becuase his noodle arm allowed DB's enough reaction time to get there. Now with Sanchize, those LB's will be cheating back inside, filing the holes CJ needs. A weak armed QB, and a shaky Oline spell struggles for any run game. ..which in turn forces the coaches to turn to shiftier backs who can make guys miss-see above.
- As for the money talks part..had they known they'd get a decent option like Booker in the draft, they would've let Miami have him. They didn't even tender him at a level that would've returned a draft pick to start with. Money may talk, but production speaks louder, and CJ has already lost his starting gig to a scat back on two separate occasions. Not a stretch whatsoever to think it could be 3
