Yea Edisto. Four laps into the race and Simonsen driving an Aston-Martin skidded and hit an abuttment that tore both doors off the car and nearly ripped the car into shreads. He died later from his injuries. Not good.

Yea, that's just awful. I went and read a few articles a little bit ago. It's sad to see these young guys getting killed. I suppose they know the risk, but it's still sad.

As a racer and my son racing it is always sad to see another driver die in a accident. RIP

thing is the driver she is the girlfriend of is a part time driver & wont race in the trucks again the rest of the year. So banning her really doesn't do much.
I wish some chick came to his defense though. A good ol' fashioned Cat fight would be good for TV
