Y'all youngins don't know the half of it with Maryland fans. They were far, far worse in the 1980's than they were when they were winning under Friedgen. When I was younger we went to several away games a year and in 1982 we went to a Maryland game. I was 11 years old and had some 40-something year old man try to start a fight with me because I cheered a Clemson touchdown. The lean years of the 1990's tamed them somewhat but they've always been a bunch of assholes.

You gave up too quick. I had a buddy get into the Lima branch freshman year and then he transferred sophomore to main and graduated.

I figured it prolly would have taken me two years to transfer to main. But shit happens. I’ve never regretted being a mountaineer.
