Docks the boat bar #3 around 11PM, still visibly upset about the conversation he had with the preg GF.
Takes off in the boat, with two buddies, around midnight despite multiple teammates and friends begging him to go home.
Hits a jetty at 60 miles an hour, just a few 100 yards off shore.

Yep, suicide is definitely on the table.

It was his boat.
There were no eye witness to the crash, so no one knows who was driving.
All people know is that he wasn't driving the boat when it pulled away from the bar dock three hours prior to the crash. Sounds like a giant, giant assumption to assume he had not taken over as the driver of his own boat three hours later.
