Mark Recchi is going to end up top 10 on all time scoring list...

He tied Paul Coffey today for 12th on all time scoring list....he needs 60 points to pass Ray Bourque and Phil Esposito to make the top ten...it's amazing, to me, that Recchi, the little bulldog that he is, has reached such rarefied heights in this league....seems not so long ago that he was just another unsung rookie on the Pens...I've met Recchi and stood next to him....I'm 5'9" and he was looking up at me....what a player he was....and still is...

Only reached 100 points three times in his career, pretty impressive he's this close to top ten. Very consistent and productive guy.

went to a pens/flyers game when i was a little kid, he was playin for the flyers at the time and we had our jerseys on.. tossed a pucks over to me and my brother.. classy guy

I was wondering about that, just knowing that he's been a consistent player when it comes to putting up decent numbers and the sheer number of games he's competed in. Very impressive for him to be with such company.
