I like bringing in new blood over taking a retread. This is his first opportunity in the pros. He came from the Chip Kelly Oregon regime. I don’t know how well that bodes for him. However, he will probably serve the same role under Nagy as he did under Kelly. My guess is that was the appeal. But you’re guess is as good as mine. I partially expected a no namer as OC. I hope he’s good because I can see Nagy handing over playcalling duties at times, kind of like how Reid did with him this year.

Nagy will call the offense so we don't need or want a big name OC. Plus he won't get poached because he will not get the credit if the offense is really good. I hear he is a innovative play caller that can add some nice wrinkles to what Nagy will run.

Seems like a well-respected guy. Many are happy with this, but I don't know the college game very well.

Was hoping to see a guy with some NFL experience working with QB's, that can help along Mitch. However, there's good reviews floating around about him, and I am all for Nagy hand-picking his own staff.
