I get the talent in the pen isnt good. But when a guy throws 8 straight balls and looks completly inept out there, you dont leave him out there in a 2 run game. This where Servais has lost me time after time. I was hoping having relatively unknown arms would have him manage it different but today showed otherwise. Just one game but man

Agreed... Especially since he had walked 3 batters in his previous start...

Add in the defense as well... Can't keep having all these errors... Especially 3 errors in one game by your SS... The team is last in MLB with 16 errors thru 9 games... 2nd worst team has 9 errors...

How quickly the M's have settled down to what we thought this season was going to look like. I agree about Servais's continued inability to manage the pitching staff. I thought after a couple years of that bullshit he would have learned by now. His post game interviews are the sos too...just a new season is the only difference.

We start the season's 1st week with the best record in all of the majors, breaking our records and tops in different stats. We're told it's a "re-build" year but we're kicking ass and taking names later only to come back to reality once again to the familiar Mariner post season drought. First week was a dick tease and now we can settle in to another ho hum baseball season like we were told it would be. Go M's but don't hold your breath for a 2020 season though. Just remember it is THEE Seattle Mariners organization.
