Here we go again. Didn't take long today. We're dead meat if our offense can't handle Senzatela today. Hopefully Wade won't let that bomb mess up his head.

Well I made it up to my first (maybe last) game of the year today for our 27th anniversary (yesterday). 5 hour round trip and I got what I expected. Paxton is a #2 on most teams and probably doesn't make the rotation for Houston. The die-hard lady in front of me was getting pissed at me because I kept saying how he wasn't an ACE when you walk a .140 hitter then finish up your day with a 3 run homer in a tied game. Then the next inning a guy two rows behind me was just blasting Servais for putting in Nicasio. I was cheering that guy on.

Cruz and Healy are back to their old ways and can't hit a ball out of the infield. Zero clutch hitting. Solo homers if they hit one. And I like Segura, but why can't a pro fucking athlete run to first base every single time hard? And don't bother giving me an excuse because there aren't any.

Oh, and that lady really loved me when I was bashing the team rewarding a GM for 'possibly' making the team a wildcard team...in July.

Oh well, we had fun on the train ride and I now look like a lobster.

Well, at least he didn't K or hit into a DP- but got an RBI with a fly out. Would have liked a hit though. YAY for Healy- that's what we need more of with guys on base!!

Funny because I was going to write before the game that I thought Healy needed a day off after sucking pretty hard of late. Servais was better than me in that one.

The one thing I really do like about Healy is his intensity. He doesn't take it lightly when he comes up short. He was shredding off his batting gloves at 1B after rounding out late yesterday with runners on. He must have took about 2 minutes ripping those things off with the 1B coach and bat boy standing by giving him space.

Rockies playing like they are in Coors Field. And we still can't get a clutch hit this series. I think Healy's in the first has been the only one all series. I thought while watching them yesterday that they started the A.S. Break a week early. They just look flat.

Seag got screwed by the ump on that one but he swung at a low ball for strike 3. At least I'm starting to have second thoughts about saying "oh shit-seager's up" but still not a fan.

Did manage to watch most of the game. Had a buddy over and was cooking some bad ass 1.5" thick rib eyes during the game so no posting, but it was nice to see some better offense coming on the heels of both of those last two.

As a whole they finished the homestand 6-3. It was a disappointing end to the homestand against the Rockies and lost ground to the ‘Stros but by all means it was still respectable.
