You called that right-the organization has no depth and the farm system is almost nonexistent regardless of what Dipoto says in his interviews. Not sure if I want to waste another afternoon watching this cluster-f unfold. Can't score runs when no one gets past 3rd base.Just hope we don't end up getting swept out of town tomorrow.

Honestly this lineup today reminds me of the team for most of the last decade. 5 guys hitting sub .240.

This is what the team will look like if they keep having these injuries. A 1 run outing at home against a meh national league team because your lineup from 6th down went: Heredia, Andreoli, Freitas, and Romine.

Team needs to stop getting these injuries and get a couple more guys back if they want to get on another roll, otherwise this streak will continue.

Skip said in the pregame show he would be available for late game PH duty and wasn't going to be out long. He's had a nagging foot thing he kind of tweaked with that base running last night and was just being given a bit of rest. They said he felt better today. They can't have him do anything more for sure.

I couldn't believe Servais put Dee in there when he's recovering from whatever and the game is all but lost. Just another dumb dumb management decision. The worse part of this whole thing is the end of this coming week, we get to play the Rockies another 3 games. Not looking like a playoff team the last couple games. Nicasio is a total waste in the pen. I don't recall having ANY confidence in him on the hill. If one or two guys are out on the DL and they play this way, might as well forget about October unless something big happens with Dipoto's magic....LOL

Oh I agree, 2 runs in 2 games is not going to get it done by any stretch of the imagination. I'm just disappointed in Paxton the last month or so. He hasn't been bad, but he's had a chance to prove himself to be an ace against the Yankees and Red Sox and he didn't and then he wasn't so impressive against Tampa or Colorado either. His only good games in the last month have been against Baltimore and KC, the two worst teams in the league.

Well I made it up to my first (maybe last) game of the year today for our 27th anniversary (yesterday). 5 hour round trip and I got what I expected. Paxton is a #2 on most teams and probably doesn't make the rotation for Houston. The die-hard lady in front of me was getting pissed at me because I kept saying how he wasn't an ACE when you walk a .140 hitter then finish up your day with a 3 run homer in a tied game. Then the next inning a guy two rows behind me was just blasting Servais for putting in Nicasio. I was cheering that guy on.

Cruz and Healy are back to their old ways and can't hit a ball out of the infield. Zero clutch hitting. Solo homers if they hit one. And I like Segura, but why can't a pro fucking athlete run to first base every single time hard? And don't bother giving me an excuse because there aren't any.

Oh, and that lady really loved me when I was bashing the team rewarding a GM for 'possibly' making the team a wildcard team...in July.

Oh well, we had fun on the train ride and I now look like a lobster.
