Switched out half the guys from last season's roster but the Astros still have our number. The good news is that even if they sweep, they still leave town in second place. Hopefully the Indians will be more accommodating.

Astros are simply better, every time we got a lead you just knew they were gonna come back, that's a good baseball team, M's aren't ready for prime time just yet... It's been an amazing start, but the Astros just sent a very clear message...

Well, if there were any positives to take from this series at all...

at least our home run streak is still active.

I'm just hoping they can answer back after this one, but from what we learned last year, all it takes is one series against a contender for reality to set back in. Look where we were last year before tangling in that first Yankees series.

I'm just hoping I'm wrong, but then again, this IS a major overhaul we had in the off-season; not even the local papers expected us to do much this year or next.

Guys, prove to us that start you had WASN'T a fluke.

I mean it's really not surprising. After the last decade or so, seeing the Mariners completely light up the scoreboard was extremely entertaining to watch. But a potent offense, with mediocre pitching and bad defense really ins't a recipe to beat good teams. It will be interesting to see how the M's as a team respond to the sweep. We'll see.

Not everyone is the Astros so we'll get back on track, that's just a dam good baseball team that's SUPER hot right now... What sucks is we could a been 7 up in the division after this series, instead were 1 game up.... OUCH ...

Voggy is not hot anymore... He's 2 for his last 7, which includes 5k's... Hopefully he can get hot again... He struck out in all 4 AB's on Sunday

Positive is not the same thing as delusional. I've said various times prior to this season that there are some building pieces. That said, the Ms are far away from a competitive team and as I stated once they run into some decent teams (after ESPN STUPIDLY hypes them up for beating up a bunch of shitty ones), their true colors will show.
