I just read this article and posted about it, but then saw you already posted it lol.

A pretty fair assessment of Arozarena's 54 games with the M's.

His performance equates to a solid C for me, not the B- that SI gave. He acts like a clown at the plate and his stats, particularly as clean up hitter, call for a more subdued and professional approach to the game to get anything above a C. I feel like being a prima donna/everybody look at me me me attitude is fine for a marquee player if that's their personality, but he's a long ways from that.

Robles did well for a half season. That's it. That's all of it.

Before coming here he had 25 AB's with the Nats this year.

He has played exactly 1 full season in his 6 years in the bigs. That was 2019.

If he somehow can play a full season for the 2nd time in his career next year and put up similar numbers to what he did in 70 games here over the season, then great.

I'm dubious, but if he can keep up that plate discipline and achieve the incentives in his contract, then the $11.75 mill extension will be a tremendous bargain.

Same exact thoughts. Great story, but far from a guaranteed repeat performance next year, but that is the kind of guys Jerry loves. If he fails, Jerry can say look what he did last year. How was I to know he wouldn't repeat.
