Clearly the team didn't see him as a MLB option for them or he would have came up when Woo was out. They put a true rookie up instead.
If they didn't see a place for him in our setup and they weren't fielding any real offers maybe it's best to dump him for nothing and make room in Tacoma for a call up that has a chance to pay more dividends at some point. Get a chance to see someone from high A or AA up at that level.
No I don't see him as a pure DH. I think they say this because of his age and size thinking he might out grow the field. He is more athletic than people give him credit for. More athletic than Alvarez for Houston.This is why I don’t understand why everyone pegs him as a DH. I truly don’t get it. Not saying he could be Julio but he at least seems like he could be at least average.
